alot of the clutches are made that way so that you can put a bigger clutch on the same flywheel.... yeah, a bigger clutch would be better especially if you use the truck AS a truck
what gets me is the difference in price... shouldn't be that much, if any. that is unless the stock repl. is a reman and the biger one is brand new.... apples and oranges here. anothe possibility (if were talking reman) is that he's trying to "stick" you with the core charge since the 11" is not a 12" model, and some are sticlkers for making sure that what you turn in as a core is the same as teh parts you bought.
