This switch has two plastic "springs" that, along with plastic pins that extend down from the cam, hold the cam in position - neutral, left or right turn. My switch had a crack in one of these plastic "springs" that caused the turn signals to either not cancel or cancel too early or not seat properly in neutral. Very annoying. A new switch from Laysons cost over $100 with shipping - a real ripoff, and, you have to pull all the wires through the steering column to replace the switch, a real pain. I thought there must be a better way, and there is.

Get to the switch (remove steering wheel, horn ring and cam). Then carefully apply silicone to completely fill the space between the "spring" and the body of the switch on both "springs". Let the silicone dry OVERNIGHT at minimum. The silicone will hold the cracked plastic together AND provide enough give for the "spring" to work perfectly. I believe this a permanent repair, and a lot easier and cheaper than buying and installing a new switch.
