I have done some searchng on the internet and found some new 7 1/4 gears from a company called Motive Gear. Has anyone heard and/or dealt with these guys before? I am considerig ordering a ring and pinion set from them and I am looking for some feedback.

7¼" ring & pinion sets are still generally available from the major suppliers of rear axle rebuild parts, because the 7¼" was used up through '97 in base Dakotas. You can even get them right over the counter at the dealer, if you want to pay a lot. Generally they're all coming from the same place, and I'm fairly certain (but not 100% sure) that they're still American-made.

Are the gears sets available compatible with '65 a-body rear ends?
