Tom, looks good for me to attend on Sunday. Do you know what the schedule looks like for Sunday? Didn't see anything on the flyer for Sunday's schedule.

Rodney Hargis defeated Judy Drake in the final Sunday to take hoem the $350 1st place money. Brian Mimken was the lone semi-finalist!

We had all 10 cars make the first round.

Charles Myers and his family stopped by and visited for a little while on Sunday and it was good tyo see them again.

A big thank you goes out to all of the racers and their families that supported this 1st year race. I really do appreciate the support.

Tom

Congratulations to Rodney looks like he is on a roll for another championship. Sorry I could not be there. My car is still broken and I hope to have it fixed by Wilkesboro. The east coast bunch needs to pickup the pace with attendance the West Coast guys sure are having good turnouts. I am having DT'S not being able to race. Hope to see everyone in July if my car gets fixed.

Sounds like it was a good race. But lack of funds and my duster still being broke wasnt helping. Hopefully I can get the car slapped back together next month....

Congrats to Rodney. We got a brown recluse spider bite about two weeks ago and as i post this we are trying not to loose anymore left calf muscle tissiue. I have been bitten three times by these little sob in my life and they are not pretty. No anitode it just destroys skin and muscle. Thanks Ron Parker :D

Sorry to hear about that. That's no fun for anyone to deal with. They have one up in the Pac NW called a "Hobo" spider that does much the same thing. You're better off getting bit by a Black Widow or a Rattlesnake; at least there's antivenom for those.

Bad thing about a brown reculse you do not feel the bite and about 3 days latter you se the spot. Striods can have a 50/50 shot if you can apply them with in 48 hours after the bite. But that is usually to late. My skin cancer docter who I called when i knew it was a brown reculse spider bite give some great advise. This is working and I think iI can avoid major damage. Thanks Ron Parker :D
