I know 400mm is not exactly 4" but has anyone ever tried a 400mm wheel on a 4" Valiant bolt circle? I've seen them advertised as either or but I would like to know. Thank You wise ones. |

400mm = 15.748" Most A-Bodies don't even have wheels big enough to clear that bolt circle. Did you mean 100mm? That is a common FWD bolt circle, and is 3.937". No they wont work. I put a couple on my Valiant when I first got it because I didn't have any SBP wheels with tires that would hold air and I just wanted to roll the thing around. They worked ok (other than rubbing the springs because of the offset) but there's no way it would have been safe on the road. It's a definite NO-GO. |

You mean 100 mm. wheel bolt spacing. 25.4 mm/inch. 4" bolt spacing = 101.6 mm. Not close enough according to popular thinking here on the forum or most tire/wheel companies. |
