Have a chance at a complete al. engine, really have no idea what to offer, but I'm a real cheapskate. The engine is in Colorado, and I would need to ship it to Iowa...anybody know how much one weighs?
Any suggestions, anybody?

Take the oldest vehicle you can get your hands on and drive to Colorado,,,just to look at the motor,,,if its good buy it and take the long way home.

Believe me, it's a very tempting idea. It would also give me a chance at a road trip with my "new" V-8 Dakota. "The long way home"....you mean through Canada, and drop it off at your house?

Or, y'know, you could buy my Canadian Valiant. It's in Colorado, too, and has a nice aluminum 225...then you could drive it home!
