Whatever you do, DO NOT SEND HAROLD A DIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is back to his old ways, just as he did before when he was in business. Lots of big promises, and nothing delivered. I spoke with Harold on the phone a week ago Sunday. He promised me that my Clifford headers I loaned him for a pattern in January would be at my house on last Wednesday. It is now a week from last Wednesday and they are not here yet. They were sent to him with a promise that I would have them and a set of prototype step headers in my hands to test by the end of April. I still have chassis dyno time booked and paid for if they ever show up. Now, he is not even building any step headers because "He is too busy building regular headers". Charlie_S has in his posession the "prototype" shorty that was going to fit 170, 198, & 225. It is a tacked together POS and will only fit the RG motors. I have kept silent through a slough of Harold's song and dance excuses. "Personal tragedies, computer crashes, too cold, power outages, etc.". Same $#!+ different shovel. If anyone is near Harold please go get my Clifford shorties and Y-pipe and COD it to me. I will pay you for your efforts. You will also save Harold from a ton of grief because I am just about ready to drive down there and retrieve them in person. I gaurantee I will be the most pissed off person Harold has ever had at his shop. Dennis Schumers 3934 Arthur Brookfield, IL 60513 708/254-3761 |

I guess everyone deserves a second chance and you gave it to him. Now we know he isn't reliable. Too bad. For him and us. |

I was hoping this would pan out. Some people just can't stand success! In the meantime, I just picked up a new set of cliffords on ebay. They showed up in less than a week. There is another set listed by the same seller right now. I think this is the third set. Maybe they have more? I suspect they will sell for around $300.00. If someone really wants a set, this may be a good time to grab them. |

Dennis, I just spoke to Harlod on the phone. He said your headers should be to you tomorrow, 6-14-07, by Fedex. I have the tacked together front section, he sent me to take pics, and post. After you let me know your headers have arrived, I will return his to him, and post the pics. Then it will be up to individuals if they want to deal with him. |

Update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I now have 2/3 of my Clifford stuff back. The 2 header sections were here today when I got home from lunch. Y-pipe is still MIA. I can honestly say that I can blame no one but myself for trusting Harold. I am a member on Moparts and saw with my own eyes what he did to people over there a couple years ago. I guess it's true. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.". I will also say that if he ever gets a step header made I do not care if it is worth 150 horse over a set of Cliffords, I will never put his junk in my car. |

Sunday and my Y-pipe has still not returned. I honestly hoped Harold had shipped 2 boxes, but it appears not to be the case. |

Pretty irritating........ I makes me wonder if you were being a nice guy or a sucker....I bet you have wondered that as well. The good news is you gave him an honest chance and we have the "dyno numbers" to come to a good conclusion about whether we want his products and services. I bet he lost or wrecked the pipe...or just couldn t be bothered. What a way to run a business....... |

The Y pipe is not really a big deal, I was going to have dual down pipes built anyway. However, it is the fact that I sent him all 3 parts to my header in good faith and only got 2 parts back. It is also interesting that the headers have a real quick BBQ black paint job on them, kinda like they were painted for sale on E-bay......................................... |
