Finally got registered and ready to roll, swapping out tires and I'm on the road. Now i'm looking at the interior and want to get the front seat recovered. I can go with a seat cover, split-bench with center armrest, or get reupholstered in original material. Cost is an issue, anyone have someone that they can recommend looking at?

A third option is to take the seat to a shop and have it covered in somthing that looks close, but not original. I understand that will save you a good piece of change as compared to ordering the original material from Year One and having it installed.

I'm leaning that way. Finding the original material is proving to be as much as getting it done with something close.

My front bench seat is pretty clean except for one part on the passenger side. It looks like where the material was stitched, it has pulled away. I think I am going to try some fabric glue and see if I can fix it myself, otherwise, I too will be in the market for a seat cover.

Only problem is, my bench isn't a split bench and I haven't found much for it.

You can probably get reproduction fabric/vinyl at: http://www.smsautofabrics.com/ and there is a wide selection of vinyl and fabric at http://www.perfectfit.com.

I took the local-shop route on my '71 and it turned out phenomenally well. Go see for yourself.
