Are the /6 flywheels any difference that a SB V8, construction wise (I know they don't interchange)? If a stock SB flywheel works fine for a 400hp/400 ft/# motor, will a stock /6 flywheel work at the same hp/torque numbers?
Looking at purchasing my clutch and I'm trying to figure out if I need a new flywheel if I can find a clutch that bolts to the stock one. I know the McLeod setup used a new one, but that was because it was drilled to match a different PP.

), and would rather buy it all now, rather than later. If I never make it past 250, I'm good if i have a flywheel that works, but if I wait and need need it at 275 or more, why not buy it now.Car will be a driver, but drag raced at times. I hope to road race it some, too. Ultimately, I would like to do the Spring Fling thing that Dart270 did this year (drive to Cali, road race it, go to the show, drive home).
