| Post subject: | 67 Barracuda disk brake swap question |
Hello, I got the upper and lower control arms, spindles, rotors, all off a 74 Plymouth Scamp.....what I am wanting to know is on my 67 Barracuda drum front setup...when I do the swap, what lower ball joint am I supposed to use? Is it the "big" one? My buddy and I are going to do this swap soon, and neither of us have messed with front ends....so I am just wanting to try to get everything ready. If anyone has suggestions, feel free to make them. If you want to help, come over too.LOL Andrew/Kidd |

You can use your Barracuda LCA. (It makes this swap way easier.) Use the ball joint that came with the disc brake spindle. Get new upper control arm shaft and bushings. Get under the car a week before starting and drown the UCA shaft and bushings in penetrating oil. You will need the junction box/proportioning valve from the Scamp. |
