Can you guys help me get a parts list together to convert the front drums to disc's plz? |

73+ A body donor parts (new or used): spindles, caliper brackets, calipers, front hoses, rotors, bearings, dust seal, splash shields (nor req., but nice to have) UCAs, lower ball joint, dual master cyl., propotioning valve. |

Yes, the FJM body spindle can be used on the A body conversion (see BigBlockDart tech pages. Some say no (see mopar action tech pages). I personally have used the FJM spindles with no problem. From the FJM you can use: spindles, calipers, rotors, splash shields, bearings, seals, hoses, proportionings valve (looks much different than the 73-75 drum/disk valve), You still need the UCA (I think I have another set kicking around, I'll look) IF you need pictures, I just did the swap on my 64. The car is for sale, see the ebay link for picts on the brakes. |
