I'm looking at rebuilding the front suspension in my 62 since the engine is out, and was looking at Just suspension and PST's rebuild kits. Nearly the same basic kit (except for new sleeves) I'm trying to figure out how they have a 200.00 dollar differance. I noticed that the Just suspension kit has poly lower bushings, and the PST does not. Does anyone know what the differance is in these kits taht warrents the price differance? Also, I'm thinking of lowering the dart 1-2" and tighen the suspension up (box lower control arms) and throw in some stiffer t-bars. What diameter is recommended? I was thinking .920's. I want this thing stiff and be able to handle a turn or two. I will be taking it for a lap or two at laguna and sears once its all done, time permitting. |

You may want to check with ESPO, www.espo.com . Their prices are often friendlier, and their service is excellent. You will get polarised opinions on whether poly bushings are a good idea or a dumb one. Whatever bushings and T-bars you wind up with, you'd do well to put in a good set of shocks. I like KYBs. |
