Just got my block and stuff back for the machine shop. I went from .030 over with stock compression to 0.080 over with 10:1 by the way of custom positions. Right know I have a holy 390, so should I go bigger or play with jets. Oh I live in Vegas if that would make a difference 4000 feet elevation I think, But really hot it was 121 the other day

That overbore should have no significant effect on your carb demands, but the compression might change things. Stick with the 390 and adjust jets, etc as necessary for best mixture/performance.

would it be a good idea to get an air to fuel gauge

Yes, that would make things easier.

I would bet you will not need to go more than 4 sizes above stock on the jets though.
