Yes, that would make things easier.
I would bet you will not need to go more than 4 sizes above stock on the jets though.

Just got my block and stuff back for the machine shop. I went from .030 over with stock compression to 0.080 over with 10:1 by the way of custom positions. Right know I have a holy 390, so should I go bigger or play with jets. Oh I live in Vegas if that would make a difference 4000 feet elevation I think, But really hot it was 121 the other day |

That overbore should have no significant effect on your carb demands, but the compression might change things. Stick with the 390 and adjust jets, etc as necessary for best mixture/performance. Lou |
