My trans slips once in the morning after I warm my car up, it does'nt slip after that just once in the morning. Can anyone help me on this. Maybe the band s need tighting. It has plenty of trans fuid.

that is most likely because of bleed down inside the trans
(often caused by miner leaks in gaskets/seals in side);
but could also be a partly plugged filter under the pan.....
place the trans in N for 30seconds to 1 min before driving it,
this fills most of the cavitys inside and it should not slip when
cold after that.
If it has not had a filter change in a few years it might be
a good idea.
What color is fluid and does it smell burnt at all?

Yep, Jeffc has a good idea. In fact, if you shift from Park to Neutral first thing when you get in the car, then start it, then fasten your seatbelt and get ready to go, then release the parking brake, by that time you should be able to shift into Reverse or Drive and have no slippage. Fluid and filter change also a good idea if it's been a few years.

sounds like torque converter drainback. Once shifted out of Park, TC refills and all is well.
