i took the motor out of my 69 valiant almost a year ago to freshen it up. i`m putting it back together now. i put the throttle linkage on and the return spring. i have the spring hooked to the linkage but where does the other end hook to? it looks like it belongs hooked to the slot in the side of the choke, is this correct? it still has the factory 1bbl.

There should be a small peice that bolts down with the choke thermostat that has small notch in it that the spring attaches to.If this peice has gone missing it would be easy to fab up out of scrap metal.
