hey my tranny is doing almost the same thing as the other guy but, it only "slips" going into 3rd. its also an auto. 1st and 2nd are fine but 2nd is very very short. i dont know if it were to be the torque converter or what but its really bothering me. any help would be greatly appreciated!! |

low fluid, plugged filter and/or "other" fluid and filter are the most common..... fluid color? smell? |

If 2nd is "short" shifting, check the kickdown linkage adjustment. The trans may not have enough throttle pressure. This can cause slippage and a short shift. Try makeing the rod just a little bit longer, and see if it helps. |
