I run about 7-8 lbs of boost on a stock bottom end, it dose have a ported head w/big valves.
For each 1 lb of boost there is a 7% gain in power, also for every 10 degrees of temp rise there is a 1% loss of power.

I have run my completely stock 225 up to 14 lbs. of boost without any problems. I normally run around 11 lbs. :D

The car below has a T-4 from an 87 Grand national, and an unkown intercooler. It works well. No turbo lag, and very smooth transition from NA to boost. I have been fighting detonation with 9 lbs of boost. Yes, it feels pretty fast to me, and I used to have a 70 Dart with a 360 in it.

Is that 7% compounded or simple interest? Seriously.

Sam

This is EFI, and the ECU has timing control. The MSD unit would work as well. I took timing out to 13 degrees under boost, put in a colder plug, and put in a cooler thermostat than stock. I plan on using water injection eventually. Because I hurt my left leg, I am on the bench for awhile, so can;t test mods to it for awhile. What kind of car do you have?

I believe it would be simple.

I run 20psi on a stock motor with 60% meth injection but also have a mix of race gas and 93 octane. Race gas is only $1.30 more than premium...cheap insurance I say. The meth comes on at 10psi. Ebay intercooler and 87 GN turbo. 234 whp and 309 ft/lbs of torque...still tuning.
