Tubular intakes sure, tubular exhaust? Nifty.

I don't see any provisions for chokes or intake heat.

Replace the plastic fuel filter with a steel bodied one

IIRC there were hyperpack split two piece cast exhaust manifolds as well.

The position of the pipe assists with heating of the fuel. Let's say little is better than none. Much better 60' time. and 1/4 mile over 2 tenths. Hope this helps. Don

Dan, my bro's modern ford ranger uses similar "cast iron" headers. Do you have a pic of the hyperpack ones for illustration purposes? I recall a set popping up in some car show that guy wanted $2k for, the oem hyperpack intake and exhaust.

Don ...and none is better than too much. Your filter setup looks like it's at risk for way too much - as in melting the fuel filter and starting an engine fire. If heating the fuel makes it go faster, it sounds like your jetting might be off, way off. Usually heating the fuel does nothing besides creating vapor lock. We had a huge discussion about this in the EFI forum.

There is nowhere to mount the chokes (electric or otherwise) that work with slant-6 carburetors. You'd have to do custom fabrication of one sort or another. It would've been easy to provide a simple bracket on the #5 runner of this tubular exhaust manifold for mounting the choke, but it apparently was just left out of the plan for some strange reason. Hay everyone This product is made by me. cathi and I run Mopars-n-More for many years. Small custom automotive shop that does everything. Any more info needed will be posted at later date!! Hope this helps Don

Looks kinda like the set the guy from Florida always has for sale. The tube manifold loks very interesting. I would think slash cutting the ends would help it flow a little better yet. If nothing else it would eliminate a couple pockets for turbulence to form.
