Where do they come from, for how much money, and do they make a model with provisions for choke mounting and intake manifold heat?

Also, what are they made out of?

Tubular intakes sure, tubular exhaust? Nifty.
I agree, but I wish they'd made it more like the '91-'99 4.0-litre Jeep tubular header:

Or maybe, since I'm daydreaming, maybe the 2-piece '02 Jeep 4.0-litre iron headers (which remind me a lot of the Hyper-Pak items):

I don't see any provisions for chokes or intake heat.
Me either. :-(

Replace the plastic fuel filter with a steel bodied one
Yeah, definitely, and move it over to the fuel pump side, away from the hot exhaust.

Ack threads got all mixed. MrTwister - instead of making a thread in one area of the forum, decide its in the wrong place, then creating another in a different area, please ask a mod to move the original one because it gets confusing not knowing which one you replied to and having two seperate discussions about the same thing.

Dan, my bro's modern ford ranger uses similar "cast iron" headers. Do you have a pic of the hyperpack ones for illustration purposes? I recall a set popping up in some car show that guy wanted $2k for, the oem hyperpack intake and exhaust.

Already done; I moved the content from the thread in "Parts For Sale" to this thread and then cancelled-out the "Parts For Sale" thread.

IIRC there were hyperpack split two piece cast exhaust manifolds as well.
Yep, I mentioned them up ↑ ↑ there ↑↑ ;-)

Made by Mopars-n-More  Made of thick wall aluminized Exhaust pipe. PowerPipe exhaust products. As far as the choke, electric is the way to go. The position of the pipe assists with heating of the fuel. Let's say little is better than none. Much better 60' time. and 1/4 mile over 2 tenths. Hope this helps. Don

...and none is better than too much. Your filter setup looks like it's at risk for way too much - as in melting the fuel filter and starting an engine fire.

If heating the fuel makes it go faster, it sounds like your jetting might be off, way off. Usually heating the fuel does nothing besides creating vapor lock. We had a huge discussion about this in the EFI forum.

I wish I could remember where I got this photo. From an ebay auction, maybe? Anyway, here is the Hyperpak manifold set.

Mister Twister, what does it look like inside the log of that fabricated header?

No valid results when I google on "Mopars n More" or "Mopars-n-More". So, um, since you know where they are, how about if you, um, provide the link to the rest of us?

Not responsive to the problem. There is nowhere to mount the chokes (electric or otherwise) that work with slant-6 carburetors. You'd have to do custom fabrication of one sort or another. It would've been easy to provide a simple bracket on the #5 runner of this tubular exhaust manifold for mounting the choke, but it apparently was just left out of the plan for some strange reason.

Heating of the fuel is not helpful. The fuel wants to be kept cool. If you're saying the position of the pipe assists with heat for the intake manifold, this exhaust manifold means having to choose between "none" (if you wrap the centre pipe of this tubular manifold) and "too much all the time" (if you don't).

Once again, those are claims. Where's the beef (proof)?

I find myself needing to ask if you have a commercial interest in this product, for you seem quite...well, hyperenthusiastic about it.

Yep, I do remember that auction. Don't remember the ending price, which is probably a good thing!

Looks kinda like the set the guy from Florida always has for sale.

The tube manifold loks very interesting. I would think slash cutting the ends would help it flow a little better yet. If nothing else it would eliminate a couple pockets for turbulence to form.
