ok so here we go i now officially have all my clifford performance parts my intake, carb adapter, carberator, linkage, and headers! now comes the question will this be a day swap? or a good solid weekend? and if anyone who has this setup was there any problems that you ran into? let me know thanks alot.

I recently did a manifold swap and ended up swapping the head because there were 2 broken studs. I still got it done in a weekend. If all goes well, no broken bolts or studs you should be fine. I did the swap on my neighbors car. One thing to check is the flange thickness of the intake and header. His was was very different, the intake manifold flange was thicker than the header flange. We trimmed some washers so they would cover the header flange but not the intake. That solved the problem for the short term. Later we took the correct thickness steel, cut spacers and mig welded them to the header....we did a little grinding too.

should take a few hours to change manifolds. exhaust hookups and throttle linkage fabing are gonna be your major time consumers

I agree with 64 4$peed. I took a weekend for mine just because I could. Mines in a van so linkage was a 12pack head scratcher but it worked. One thing I did and I'm probably going to catch some flack for this is I used studs all across the board. I also used the stock "triangle" washers and clifford said "nooo". Well its been over a year and not one problem except fightin the holley and finally switchin to the edelbrock 500. When you do the install(if you haven't already) you see why I went with studs and the stock washers are beefier and no grinding to make them work. Thats my story an I'm stickin with it 8)

Took a day installed clifford 3into1 headers intake 4bbl carb made throttle linkage ran new hoses and painted the block with all the shiz off it won't take to long but you may run into a problem with the kickdown linkage i made a bracket and hooked it onto that but still havent gotten to hooking the kickdown linkage to the carb yet:(. It was fun though and performs great.
