I just want to introduce myself. My name is David, and I have a 1963 Dart. It has a slant 6, and pushbutton auto transmission. I've been working on it since January 2007, when I bought it for $200.

It's going to be my daily driver.

I have already got it running, but now its not.

It needs brakes.

I did bodywork on the fenders, hood, valance, and roof, and they've been fairly straight. Left front fender has been replaced a long time ago, the valance, hood and front bumper have been replaced more recently. So its been in a couple accidents. The driver's lower door and passenger rear lower quarter are rusted pretty bad, someone fiberglassed it, but it rusted out again. so, I'll have to fix their repairs too.
I got the slot mags from a friend with a 70 Duster, and the front hubcaps from my brother's (Grudd440) 73 Duster.

I put 93 Sunbird seats in it. i made a rear firewall and doorpanels out of some board, patched the floors, and painted the interior black.

I am going to paint the car Grabber Green, but a little darker, and i will tint the back and side windows black. My theme is a 70s street racer, though at this point it would be very slow.

Welcome aboard. Lots of potential there. How well does it run?

It runs real good, real smooth, after I replaced the distributer, and set the timing right.

the tranny was low on fluid when I got it, and it still needs about 1/2 quart, but it works fine driving in the field.

i don't have working brakes, that's next month.

The car also didn't have seat belts from the factory.

From what I know, the motor has been rebuilt about 5 years ago, but only ran for abou 500 miles before it was parked. It passed through a few owners, before my friend got it about 3 years ago, I got it in January 2007 for $200. It has about $600 in back fees on it.

The car has also been wrecked a few times, this is evident when i've been doing bodywork.

Here are some more pictures.

This is it when I first got it.

I think this was last march.

Here's when I started the bodywork.
