Has anybody tried Holley's instructional DVD? Enough info to get deep into a 4150, or should I just buy the book? CJ |

Post subject: | I got it for free with my new 2bbl 350cfm |
bought the carb new and it came with a dvd in a paper sleeve. I remember watching it twice to absorb the information- it was a good primer if you don't know much about them. I also bought a holley tuning book. All good information, and it was hard to find that much in depth info on the web. I ended up buying a wideband a/f from innovate. Combined with a vacuum meter I was able to tell which circuits of the carb were being used and whether they were lean or rich. I ended up making compromises in some areas to get others where I wanted them, but it took the guesswork out of the tuning and became a much more linear process. Anyway, Im not an expert, but I learned a lot and would be happy to share anything I learned! Good luck Kevin |

I'm looking at changing the secondary air bleed to hold the secondary out for a bit more RPM. I'm running O2 and a Vac gauge too. Just trying to get the thing to behave on there. I'll have to start all over with the new engine, and will likely up to the 600 4150 for it. CJ |
