Hello All!

Got a chance for a '71 Dart Swinger with 83k original miles /6 Auto. This is what the guy told me on the phone: He has a Clifford 4bbl intake, with an Edeilbrock 500 carb, split dual exhausts (From Clifford too I think) going into 2.5" aluminized pipes, and a set of Flowmaster mufflers... Converted to Mopar competition electronic ignition. He has the interior out right now, but has an almost completely new interior, including carpet kit, dash pad, package tray & says door panels & sun visors are near perfect. He also has an 8 3/4" rear with the big bolt pattern that's been narrowed to the correct width including a shortened driveshaft, and a complete front disk brake setup with less than 200 miles on it that go with the car. Problem is I'm in Wa state, and the car is in Georgia, and I'm worried about driving the car cross country since I will have to depend on the owner getting the car back together enough for the trip. If I got the whole deal for $2k, is it worth it even if the car quits half way across the states & I end up having to trailer it the rest of the way... Body is extremely straight & 99.9% rust free according to the current owner. I'm really hoping that I can drive it as I finish the project... Have begginer to intermediate mechanical skills, so please excuse me if I'm asking questions that seem too simple. Thanks for any input!

The car sounds good.....
Have you thought about having it shipped
I looked into having a Dart shipped from the East coast to So Cal. and it was only 200 to 300 bucks I'll see if I can find my info ....... I got it off the web
