Folks, After reading old threads this morning it dawned on me I might be tying to get a rocker arm oiling bolt I don't need. (In Parts Wanted) I am about to mount a rocker arm to a drool tube head and am missing the rear holddown bolt. I was remembering that bolt as a long one that was hollow. After reviewing old threads, in particularly terrylitlejohn's of Feb 19, it may be I remember wrong and all I need is a typical 3/8 bolt of right length. Is that correct? thanks, rock '64d100 |

I have never seen a hollow rocker bolt. The peanut plug heads do use a rear bolt that is stepped down to 5/16". My early heads all just used a longer 3/8" bolt. |
