I finally found a A-833 tranny from a Volare to replace my 3 on-the-tree in a salvage yard about a 100 miles from home. I will pick it up on Saturday. It has the sghifter, linkage and bell housing. My wagon currently has a '75 225 with original tranny. Will the flywheel that I am currently using work with the 4 spd? What clutch and pressure plate is recommended? Will the tranny bolt right up or do I need additional parts (i.e. bearings etc.)? Will the clutch fork from my 3 sp work on the 4spd? I found a floor pan hump from a mid 70s Duster with a 3 spd on the floor...will the hump work in my '66 Valiant wagon? Any other parts I need? Will the original carpet fit over the 4 spd hump? Thanks, Gary theluketribe@hotmail.com |

I thin that the mid seventies hump might work, but isn't that part of the floor? You need the add on hump. I used an old oil pan becaue I am broke..... OK cheap. crapett.?? Whats that? can you put oil in it? richard-c@e-d-a.com |
