So I have had my 74 Space Duster for almost 2 years and it is finally getting some attention. I am doing the interior as we speak but now I am at a complete loss as to what to do next to it. It needs some attention to the suspension and the transmission before I can even drive it around with the new comfort seats. I am going to dig as far as I can into all the postings to see if I can get some clues as what to do. By the way, I don't see any slant sixes at any car shows recently in the South Bay area of california, is anyone around here? |

Hello Goccia and welcome to the board! Yes, the search option is a very good tool to find the information you seek. All of your questions have probably been answered here at some point. As for Bay area Slants there are a few. I think you'll find some show coverage and pics if you search for that as well. Take care! -James |

Welcome to the board! Please feel free to ask questions, and you're sure to get a great deal of guidance and help. The South Bay is a terrific place to be if you're building a slant car. In fact, the Bay Area slant-6 meet is coming up. You should go! See this thread. Suspension and transmission can be fixed with stock parts and techniques, or there's almost no limit to the amount of upgrading and reëngineering and tweaking (and spending) you can do. What kinds of repairs are needed, and what are your goals for upgrade, if any? (best to ask this question over on the suspension/brakes and transmission board) |
