Awhile back someone mentioned that they made solid mounts for the older A bodies outta some square tube sliced in half? If anyone has any insight into this id sure like to hear or better yet see a few pictures so I can make up a set, thanks. -Jesse |

Not the post I was thinkin but very helpful tho. I was thinkin the mounts were shorter than 2" and they needed to be sectioned down abit. Cool of to the shop now! -Jesse |

If you take an old mount out and disassemble it, the idea becomes easy as pie. |

I did it. just the drivers side. I decided the vibration wasn't worth it. It resonated through the whole car at certain rpms in 5th gear that happened to be ideal cruising rpm's. so I will be changing it out tonight if my rubber ones show up like they R supposed 2. J |

Didnt have an old one to copy. So I went to Kragen bought both the mounts got all my dimentions then returned them(Im such a prick). Thanks for the tips. -Jesse |
