I have an extra 225 in my storage unit that I want to drop in a car I am considering buying. It was originally a 318 but does not have the engine in it. Will I need to change the K-frame, motor mounts, etc. or should I try to find another body that was originally a 225 motor? |

The '67-up A-bodies use a different K-frame for 6-cylinder vs. V8 engines. You can swap the K-frame. The bodies are all the same. |

I did the V8 to slant swap in a 67 Barracuda by using a 73-up slant K frame (advantage - spool mounts and eliminated the 1 year only 67 idler arm). |

Do you have a transmission with the Slant Six bolt pattern? |
