does any one think that it is possible to to put an 144 blower on a slant six. I know i would have to custom make things but what all would i have to do to the 225 to get it to stay together

Somebody somewhere has probably already done this. Generally you need a stout bottom end and low (lower?) compression. Most blowers can be dialed in underdriven or overdriven depending on what you're running. A ot of it is gonna be what you're looking for from it.

I'll be intere4sted to see what some of the more experienced folks here have to say. Good luck!

yes you can,if you like a challenge and don`t take(it won`t work)for an answer you will have fun doing it.i had a 4-53blower off a 4cylinder detroit, made all the brackets, manifold and serpentine belt drive from junkyard parts and made a 0.030 over slant in a 2500lbs car do 12.30et @ 108mph in the 1/4mile,now i am working on a 4-71blower with 2/600cfm vac secondary in the same car with a 0.080 over slant, this one is not going as easey, the things i would suggest is think long and hard on cam, compression and carb selection.the smaller blower could handle more compression than a big blower without hurting parts, and just by spinning the blower faster and making more boost doesn`t mean you will make your car faster.go to webshots and search terrylittlejohn most of my picture are there. good luck 8)
