I've got a Pace Arrow Motor Home that has a couple of Coach batteries run in Parallel.
They also hook up to the emergency start circuit on the Chassis side through a relay.

The short cables that tie them together are my problem. I replaced them a couple of years ago with cables from a local Carquest. The ends have already deteriorated. (flat style ends that go on a stud on top of the battery. Wing nut. That sort of thing.)

I'm ready to go down to the Farm Implement outfit down the road and have them build me some cables. What gage cable should I use? 2θ? Bigger?

2ga would be plenty, 1ga if you want super premium. 2/0 gauge is grossly excessive. Won't hurt anything, it'll just drive up the cost of making the cables.
