hi i am a slant six forum member and i went searching today to address an antenna tightening question. i have a 62 signet.
i bought a cover for my car and when putting the cover on i loosened the nut holding the antenna in place to drop the antenna so the cover would fit. I
then proceeded to lose the nut. i have an inadequate hardware store nut that does not thread on properly and does not cinch down. i am hoping to find out what the spec is for these antennas so i can go online somewhere and order a nut with the correct thread pitch, width and depth.
i would post a photo of the antenna but don't know how to do that on this forum
