I love my 64 Canadian Valiant. As for collectibility I dont know, value is based on how much someone wants something :) Personally I just like the way the Valiant front clip looks on the Dart body.

I find the Valiant body to plain and the Dart nose too pointy :)

Here is a pic of mine. (BTW it might be forsale soon)

I know that "price" is whatever one can fetch. I'm just curious if there is a greater market for the Canadian models based on the fact that: they are unique; not too many were produced; and many have probably been destroyed by salt and the elements by now.

Let's say my fair condition 64 V200 4dr sedan is valued at $1200.00US. Would a comparable Canadian version be worth more than that?. . . Or am I a market of One.

Anyone? Anyone?

The condition of the car is the major "value factor".
I would say that there would be some "novelity" for US buyers when it comes to the Canadian "mixed sheetmetal" cars, I guess the same could be said for US cars in Canada.

Truth is that any value difference would be small seeing I have made many of these "wierd" cars myself, just by swapping front "clips".

I know that in Vancouver BC the going price for a cherry early A-body is about $4500-6000 Cdn. This would be for a 2dr hardtop or convertible and would apply to cars in #2 or #1 condition. Other than the novelty factor, there probably isn't anything special about early Canadian A-bodies. After all most of the later ones were just rebadged Dodge Darts.

I bought my '66 Valiant Custom 200 2drhdtp (Dart 270) for $400 CDN three years ago in non running condition but with a fairly decent body.
