Is there a way to shorten the throttle line so it will work with the carburator? The instructions for the linkage say I just need to shorten it about one inch. How do I keep it attached if I cut it. How does one go about adjusting the the kickdown linkage? From what i've read its just a matter of pulling back a lever and tightenting it. Is this so? And I must say you guys have helped a great deal. Thanks! My damn dad insisted on leaving the manifolds off. Oh well they went on easy but the oil pump was impossible to put in without removing the engine a second time. I told you so! heheh |
