Went thru past postings concerning hyd. lifter engines/swaps. From what I read, I can use an '82 head on an early, solid lifter short block, as long as I use the solid lifter valve train and rocker shaft. I'll also have to use the late valve cover, as it was different than the early one. Am I wrong here, or what? Roger GTS225@aol.com |

You will also have to have the last "necked down" bolt from the hydraulic rocker shaft. I've had no problems so far. (Over 5000 miles and 100 passes) aschumers@aol.com |
