For that era, there would be a couple of 'ground wires' coupled together by a band of potmetal wrapped in covering that goes to an 'eyelet' bolted just a smidge to the driver's side of the radiator. Sadly this is a weak spot on all 73-76 A-bodies as the wire gets brittle and breaks off... once you find the grounding wires, or if you have the harness unwrapped, run new wire to the grounding point, then run a nice heavy wire from the negative battery terminal to that grounding point.

Good luck, that problem origianlly plagued my '76 when I put it back together, things are much better now...

You also might consider looking up Dan's relay bypass so you don't get the common 'flickering' headlight problem...(and can get better headlights too...)

DI's advice is good; the grounds are definitely a weak point. It's good to go through and improve them, not just make spot repairs where the degradation's gotten bad enough to cause complete failure.

Headlamp relay info here.

Thanks to both of you. I found it and have run a new wire as suggested all lights work now.

I followed all the tips, and installed the upgrade headlights Dan recommended.

The light is phenomenal.

The only descriptor I can offer on the Cibie E-codes is: WOW!
