Post subject:  Help Please! manifold porting

Does anyone have a guide for porting the exhaust intake/manifolds?
It would be helpful to see some pictures of one that has been done.

I need to take mine off this week and install the new Aussie carbon fiber gasket.
Right now I have several manifold leaks that are getting worse to were it cuts in and out at light throttle settings at cruise.
I am down to 21.5 mpg gallon from 24.5 mpg due to a bad ROL gasket.
The head has already has been ported and gasket matched, but not the manifolds. The intake was pretty close to the gasket shape but the exhaust manifold had alot of overlap, up to 3/16 of an inch in the corners. The exhaust manifold seems way too small now that the head has been gasket matched.

If I gasket match the intake and exhaust, will I get into trouble with removing too much and cause cracking on the exhaust manifold?
How much meat do I need to leave to keep it from cracking?

There are no pictures in the articles section.

Thanks,

Post subject:  Help Please! on manifold porting

Does anybody have any experience on port matching the stock manifolds? How narrow can the mounting faces be, and not crack?

Any input, comments and pictures would be much appreciated!
