Anybody know anything about the old Hilborn system/manifold from the late 60's/early 70's? There's one advertised in a local credit union swap sheet, without a price.....yes, I'm gonna try to get it. I know it existed, but never thought I'd ever get the chance to see one, let alone own one...stay tuned, I'll let you know. Roger GTS225@aol.com |

I'm now the proud owner of an original Hilborn fuel injection unit! And yes, it's the real m'coy. 'Been waitin' twenny yars to git one o' these! About the only thing that's missing is the fuel pump, and last I knew, it's the smallest one Hilborn offers, and is still available. Manifold is complete, right down to the velocity "stacks", barrel valve and hoses to each injector. Ports measure 1 7/16x1 1/4 at the mount flange, so I'm guessing this thing really works best on a hi-rev motor. Well, if nothing else, I've got one heck of a conversation piece. If anybody's interested, I'll see what I can do for some pics. Roger GTS225@aol.com |
