I am 46 degrees total at 2000 rpm that includes 13 degrees of vacuum advance using a can that is stamped 11R on the arm. I have a pretty stiff secondary spring with an extra long loop. I turned the cam around on the governor for a little longer throw. It is almost and 1/8 inch longer over the stock spring that comes in the 1974 electronic distributor.
I get almost 50 degrees at 2500 rpm. That is right at cruise, 60 mph with my rear end ratio using P235 60 14's. From 60 to 90 it goes pretty quick even though I am sure it is not advancing that much more. 90 mph is about 3500 rpm and I run out of smooth road around here.
I usually can test it at 4:30 in the morning on the way to work, but then you have to slow back down. The cops love to wait just after the merge around the corner.
