would like to know the info on these. If i post some pics of the cast #'s can we figure out the years etc?

I'm trying to sell these and would like that info, ty

are these slants the SAME ones that were on ebay back in July? were they yours then,or did you buy them.
one is reverse rotation IIRC.

perhaps no one wants a slant capable of 100 mph in reverse.

good eye mate.... regardless, wheres the resource to figure out what i have. We got these off of a bad deal from a guy in LA. we don't know anything other than what we can read off the motors. I would like to figure out the year, therefore the rated HP for that year with the stock carbs for it's particular app.

It would be a good start to post whatever-all you can read off these engines. Post casting numbers and engine ID numbers (which will either be stamped or will be on a data plate).

Reverse rotation is done with a camshaft. That basically about it, IIRC.

I found one website that listed the 3698447-1 head as a 1975-80 plymouth.

Looks to be late 1970s cast crank engines.
As already noted, the reverse direction and marine specific items are what sets these engines apart from the pass. car version of the SL6.
As for all the other items, they are the same as any other SL6 made in the late 70s.
