Seymour towed to the Tulsa MoPar show today and ran quicker that the record he holds for A/G. His best pass was 11:529@112.34. Perfect weather and the promoter treated us great. The announcer really bragged on the slant 6 cars. We had a great time. Mark |

That must have been the blue car Mark? Did you check his fuel? Congrats to Seymour, He really is one fast old man. |

He had the blue car. What are you trying to say? Seymour can run anything he wants since it was not an official slant race. I did ask him about the fuel and he failed to see the humor in it. I also brought the weight of his flyweight Valiant. He had a good time and so did Team Green. Mark |

Hi Mark, Thanks for the update on times at Tulsa and the flyin' flyweight. Last time I saw Seymour, he was complaining he needed to lose a few pounds - whoa! Glad you guys had a great time. That could be a great location for an East vs. West Coast race, eh?? Cheers, Lou |

It would be a hard drive but I could make that in a day. West coasters would need 2... each way. |

Possibly a Slant race in Tulsa in the future? Count me in. Only five hour drive and a nice track to boot. I'll drag up all the north Texas Slanters I can find. RICK |

I thanked the promoter for having us and suggested a slant powered bracket. I think it might happen. They have a series that includes Mo-Kan Dragway- Pittsburg,KS, Mid-America- Ark City,KS and the Tulsa race. The Tulsa race is always the first weekend in November and they have been lucky with the weather the last two years. I will keep you posted. Mark |
