For most applications, I'd say Espo. Haven't ordered any of their springs, but they have a good repuation. |

JC Whitney used to sell the same springs as ESPO for less money. I pulled a pair of Whitney springs out of my Valiant Saturday that had been in the car for 5+ years and they still look great. You will probably find that you have to order springs for a '73 and up Dart, and you will have to drill out the front spring eye for 5/8" bolts. |

My instinct is to pick up a set asap, after hunting down torsion bars, which are now discontinued all over. (I ended up going with 'custom' bars by firmfeel for $225. They are listed at 3 or even 4 hundred everywhere else.) If I am trying to make the car nice and stiff- 1" bars, rubber bushings, new KYBs, re-bushed stock sway bar up front- would these springs be underkill? Are the HD units 5 leaves? Thanks rdr |

Quote: Thanks Matt,
ESPO don't list leaf springs on their site because there are so many variants. Call them up and they will talk over the options with you. There is no need to claim to have a different year or type of car.I can't find any rear springs for a Dart on their site. JC Witless supply springs made by John R Spring Service in suburban Detroit. |
