Finally got to drive my dart for the first time. Man I got to fix that vibration but to me it drove like a dream lol. Got some funny looks when I stopped to put gas in it and a 15 yo kid crawled out of it lol.

Way to "Represent"! Maybe you need one of the bumper stickers from Chuck "This is NOT your Grandma's Slant 6!"

Keep us posted on your progress. What's up with the vibration?

We all seem to think its the constant velocity shaft but we being them and not me. It seems to do it real bad until around 40 mph then it eases off but if you just pull out easy and coast down hill you don't feel it but if you pull out and mat the stock slant six to the floor it gets horrible untill you let off so Im not positive what it is yet but still the shaft needs attention as the boot is missing and its not in the best of shape so fixing that first and see if it fixes it.

drive shaft angle ?
this will give those symptoms. if the drive shaft angle is too great both exit from the trans and entry to differential will do it.
broken or rotted out engine mounts will mess with exit angle and mechanical alterations and damage to rear suspension can alter pinion angle at the rear.
also possibly just badly worn universal joints on the driveshaft.

"64 Dart? Could be the ball and trunnion. They can be serviced, if caught before they get too bad.

If your working on the ball/ trunion joint-- do a search----you can still get parts for these & ebay sometimes has them. Since your boot is gone I would start there. Also check condition of the tranny mount. Lawrence
