Posted earlier about my missing fast idle cam that I found on a second carburetor. Got to thinking: Why shouldn't both my carburetors have fast idle cams? They are Carters. Any suggestions on where to find another cam and shaft?

Yes, they should both have fast idle cams...sounds like one fell off somewhere along the line. They're not to be had new; you'll have to rob one off another carb (but if you're only using one carb at a time, you only need one fast-idle cam at a time...)
