| Post subject: | Differences in '65 and '69 4-speed linkage? |
I've got a pedal assembly and z-bar from a '65 Dart, wondering if they will both fit in my '69 cuda? Both are for small-block. The z-bar to frame rail ball stud looks different, has a plate mounted to it rather than just a screw-in ball stud. Thanks, Bill 69 fb Hillsboro, OR |

The 65 stuff will fit only the early A Body. You need the stuff from the 67-69 A body. Possibly the 70-76 stuff might work as well but am not sure about that.

Yep...I just put a 1974 A-230 in my '67, I used a 1976 Z-bar, a set of pedals from a '73, and the linkage was from a '74 (with new bushings, etc from Brewers). Everything bolted up just like it was meant for that car...-D.Idiot |
