Check out the "Help" section at your autoparts store.They have some small rubber bumpers for gas doors that might work.

| Post subject: | Rubber Bumpers Behind License Plate |
On my 74 Dart Sport, the chrome rear bumper has three small holes in it for little rubber bumpers. Two are the same size and the middle one is slightly larger. These rubber items keep the license plate from vibrating on the chrome bumper causing a rattling noise. Where do you find replacement rubber bumpers. I've tried Year One and Hardins. I'll even use used ones. |

Pretty sure you can get those from Gary Goers. Follow instructions here to get a paper catalogue (you definitely want a paper catalogue), and in the meantime you can download a fairly decent but somewhat outdated version of the catalogue here. |
