What's the ampere rating of the fusible link at the bulhead connector? Sam |

I don't know that they were really rated for amperage. They were just a wire gauge (two numbers) smaller than the wire they were supposed to protect. If you had a 12 awg wire you used a 14 awg fusible link. |

Four gauge sizes smaller, actually. A 12ga circuit is protected by a 16ga fuselink. See this post for more information. |

You're right. I goofed. I knew it was two wire sizes not 2 gauge numbers. ![]() |
