I’ve called three Chrysler/Dodge dealerships and they are telling me that they haven’t made heat control valve solvent for years. Are they wrong or is everyone else wrong? Is there anything else? Will penetrating oil keep it working? One dealer said that the original solvent had graphite in it. Does that sound correct? What about this at $15.00 per can? (with a minimum order of 2 cans) http://www.segaerosol.com/ I'm about to replace my cracked manifold with a used one- maybe a bad move - but it's a little, very, very little sticky. Danny |

They're lazy, is all. Feed them the part number, 4318039AB, and they'll quote you a price.Quote: Is there anything else?
Nothing else that works as well.Quote: Will penetrating oil keep it working?
No, it'll burn instantly and carbon-up the valve bushings even worse than before.Quote: One dealer said that the original solvent had graphite in it.
It never did.
