This post is for Uncle Charrlie_S,,, will the Clifford Header 3/3 fit the early A body (63) with a 225 ? I sold my 67 Dart street car yesterday so looks like I may keep the 63 Valiant. I have a fresh 225 to replace the 170 and a whole bunch of other parts to throw at it if it don't sell at the Mopars at the Strip auction. I remember you saying that they were a problem with the 170..... |

The new style Clifford "Shorty" header fit my 66 Valiant, with a 225, with no problems. 63 sould be the same as the 66. My 66 Cuda has a 170, and I had to modify the front 3 tubes, so the collector would clear the steering box. The number 5 tube needed a small dent, so it would not rub on the front bolt that mounts the trans brace to the engine. |
