OK: it's not a slant, but it IS a Mopar and a 6. Think I may make this my new wake-up call ringtone.

That Growl noise is that intake noise?

Oh, it doesn't sound like ricer exhaust either so I'm happy.

Cheers, WIzard

I've had the good luck and honour of being there while a 170 ci engine built for a racing class we have down here was revved up to 10,5 K rpm and lingered there for a while that seemed like eternity. Same setup as far as for carburetors (3 webbers DCOE 45/45) and big tube headers with no muffler whatsoever and kinda short pipe (It would have exited below the rear wheel well area, right where a 2dr's door ends. I'll say that the slant six is one of the quieter engines I've listened to. You do that with any small block or other IL6 engine and feels like an earthquake and it's deeply disturbing (either for ex pulse asymmetry on V8's or ex waves on ford and chevy IL6 engines)

Sounded like that Aussie 6 was a bit off on the tune? The intake note sounds kinda chuggy.

I heard Tilley's NA race motor make 354 HP on my last visit - sweet sounds...
