Thanks, Frank. It is appreciated. Without the help from RP Racing, there would not even be a Slant Six race, at that track, for 2008. Lets show him we are gratefull, and support this meet. |

As of today, 2-10-08, the Slant Six purse is now up to $1,000. Lets see if we can get a good turnout. Can't let the west coast racers outdo us. |

If I don't break anything, I will have two race ready cars. Problem I can only drive one, and even though, I have two tow vehicles, and can probably borrow another trailer, I need another person that can drive a tow vehicle. |

All these "extra" cars and not enough people to drive them... What is the world coming to? |

I would love to, but the R&R flights from Iraq and Afghanistan that go direct to Atlanta no longer route through Frankfurt like they used to. I would spend all of my leave time waiting for "hops" from here to there to there just hoping to get close enough. I would probably miss the race and then be AWOL not getting the right connections to get back to work on time. MAC flights are good for traveling when you don't HAVE to be to a certain place at a certain time. If the R&R flights still went through here I would be there in a hot second! I just can't quite swing/justify the $1,000+ for a roundtrip ticket. Don't think I haven't labored endlessly looking for ways to make it to Slant 6 races over the last 3 1/2 years! Just another 2 years, 4 months and 8 days and I'll be back in the states... You guys have fun for me and take lots of pictures and videos, okay? |
