ok ive been tryn to figure out why the head on my slant 6 reads 225R. ive found out information on like 3 other letters like e but i can not find anything about the R stamping after 225. can anyone help? |

It sounds like you're reading off the top of the block, not the head itself. The "R" just means the engine was originally built for installation in a passenger car (rather than a truck or industrial application). |

yea... i know that but on the side of the head on the passenger side it says 225R im not sure... im only 17 and i just got into mopars about 2 years ago when i bought the satellite (didnt want a mustang like the rest of the family). so im still pretty unfamilliar with the engine codes... |
